Pop em in the ground and see what happens! I have golden raspberries (everbearing) and are they ever delicious! My favorites by far. If you have any nice composted chicken poo or fresh rabbit poo, throw some of that on there and water. Let them dry out a bit between waterings until established. This advice is in regards to the raspberries only ... I haven't a clue on gooseberries! They sure look neat though!
Last I heard, yes! Four out, eight boys and the coach to go. That cave system is nuts! Only 2.5 miles but an 11 hour round trip. Makes me claustrophobic just thinking about it.Yes! They have four (?) boys out now I heard?

Those berries should like that compost with a serving of extra nitrogenThank you. I do have some compost I can add to the soil and of course there's chicken poo in there. I started a thread in the gardening forum and someone suggested adding the miracle grow root hormone so I may try that. Really really really hoping the raspberries come alive and as far as the gooseberries I'm pretty sure they're like a muscadine. My hubby loves muscadines and wanted some which is why I grabbed those.
Neither can I. What a freak thing to happen - so glad to see that they've started getting them out of there.I can’t even begin to imagine how nerve-wracking this has been for their families.

I don't know what a muscadine is! I'll have to look it up...
Hah! Sounds like a wild grape variety (according to the interwebs) which sounds neat! I put in hardy kiwi this year and I'd like to add grapes within the next couple years for sure!Oops I think my southern is showing. They grow native down here where I live. People make wine and jellies out of them or just eat them raw.
