Silence Is Not Golden Here

They love flying and climbing on the tree branches that have broke off a huge tree.

Ok another dumb question

When the cockerels get old enough to go in with the ladies will i need to take them off layer feed? Or just have a different food for the boys and girls

First time getting a cockerel

I avoided any need for this question, myself... I just plan to feed starter-grower on a permanent basis, and I have a dish of oyster shell available separate from the feed. I suspect that having different food for the boys and girls won't work, since they'll all just munch on whatever, regardless of gender. To my understanding - disclaimer: not an expert! - the pullets will snack on the oyster shell if they need it, but not if they don't - and the same for the cockerels. But if it's mixed into the food, like with layer feed... then they eat it regardless. I'd rather have it as a side dish that they won't be eating unless they need it than as part of the main dish that they'll eat whether they need it or not. Yesterday, Ash laid her first egg... the two days prior to that, all the pullets wiped out my dish of oyster shell, and cleaned up what had been knocked out on the ground by the Sebright girl who seems to think I'm hiding mealworms underneath the shell. She keeps digging it all out onto the ground, to look in the bottom of the dish. Where there are no treats hidden... Then she runs over and pecks my leg indignantly... every time...

Same here...except at least 3 of those 5 have to be related to me for me to feel comfortable :p
When I go out I have to be with either my brother or one of my best friends to feel comfortable. Otherwise I hide.
And I mean HIDE.
I really do not like approaching people I don't know well.

Me to a T :p
I have barely ever looked anyone in the eye that I didn't know in my life . I am soo shy I take my glasses off in public so I can't see people very well. For some odd reason I feel comfortable that way :lau

I'll try my best to remember that when I meet you :p
I was raised to give eye contact and that's what I do but I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable. :)
