Silence Is Not Golden Here

For freaks sake. Guess I'm not taking ANY Cochins to fair.
BOTH of them are passing pure blood, covered in blood around their vents, and there is blood EVERYWHERE in the coop.

I just checked my treatment calendar. All of my birds including the Cochins have been on Corid for about a week now. The Cochins themselves look fine aside from pooping blood.
I don't know what is happening. Please someone help....

We also have mice getting into their coop.
Shoot Cy I am sorry you should have called me.
I am going to try to catch up now.
I was a little tied up.

Yep. I ordered twelve Lavender Ameraucana Bantam eggs from a person contacted through the Ameraucana Breeder's Directory. She sent me thirty, instead!

I have a standard lavender Ameraucana from a hobby breeder's stock. She's a little dark and her beard isn't the best but she's still a pretty bird. That's her in my avatar. She's my girl that was broody and just hatched the chick for me that I mentioned earlier in this thread. I bet the little bantams will be adorable!

Some of the eggs that were sent are older - The breeder mentioned that right off, that they were as much as a couple weeks old. So we'll see how they are for viability. I think that's part of why she sent me so many - to see how well they're holding viability. She did something I haven't seen with any other eggs I ordered.. which, realistically, is just two batches of Serama eggs. She bubble-wrapped them individually, had them inside one box laying down - not in cartons, not upright - with layers of bubble wrap, and aluminum foil lining the box. Then that box inside a larger box, with bubble wrap padding on all sides.

A few of the air pockets are a bit saddled, but to my surprise, not very many. And none were completely broken loose.

I ordered from the ones I had from mpc and they were individually bubble wrapped too but they weren't laying down.

2 thermometers and thermostat holding steady. Moving thermometers around looking for warm and cold spots now.
