Silence Is Not Golden Here

Same here (obviously reversed case lol), I'm gonna wait till I'm 25 to get married. We might be landing this lot maintenance deal this winter which'll bring in $250,000 per year. I'm hoping to have an established property before I get married :p
That is a good plan :p
The more I think about it, the more I realize that I should wait until I'm older to get married. More of a chance to establish my life.
My mom got married at 26 and my dad at 35. :)

You’re better off single than in a relationship with the wrong person. I dated a few guys before I met my DH, kicked them all to the curb within 2 months of starting to date. I knew with 4 months I wanted to marry my husband, we were engaged 6 months after meeting and married a year and 2 weeks after meeting. We’ve been married for 5 years and I couldn’t be happier despite everything we’ve been through. We went through it together. I didn’t meet him until I was 26. The right guy is worth the wait.
I totally understand.
I have never dated but I know a lot of people who have and not one of them could make it work for more than 4 months.

I have a plan for myself that has been set since I was 14.
I want to have a functional farm when I am older and be making a steady income from either my own animals or working with other people's animals.
I want to have at least 40 acres of land that is bought.
And most importantly I want to be stable and happy where I am before a man even enters the picture. Regardless of how long that takes.

And if I do get married I don't want a very expensive wedding.

That is a very practical plan :p

I'm hoping it is reality. I hate seeing young couples bankrupt or screw their lives up with debts that cause them to get into disputes all the time; and I don't want it happening to me :p
I get it. My parents are kind of like that.
I just want to live a happy life without having to stress over financial stability :p
