i would rather they go to someone who is familiar with the breed...$2500.00 is for them all - about 70 hens and 20 roos plus whatever chicks(currently 50+) and eggs...they're relatively good to high quality birds...i am NOT npip .. any bird on my property has hatched here... they're all less than 2 years old .. they're available individually as well, but prices will range from $50 to $150 per bird, UNsexed chicks ranging from $10 to $30 a piece (lots of 3 more)

i've been keeping silkies for just over 3 years .. i purchased less than 10 my first year from one and ONLY one high end breeder who does show and place well... my second year was spent ordering eggs from high end breeders on byc ... my 3rd year was spent keeping the best from the best and breeding them ....i'm fried ... just can't do it anymore... i was initially thinking of keeping maybe 10 or 20, but realistically i'd end up back where i am now in no time ...

... i initially started with them for their broodiness -- i was going to use them primarily for hatching peafowl eggs, never anticipating that i'd get sucked into the silkie obsession... i don't have the time that these birds deserve... whatever doesn't sell by the end of the summer are already spoken for..if needed or wanted i can give names of people or establishments that have gotten large numbers of healthy birds from me over the past few years with NO incidents

cash or paypal only ... no checks or credit credit cards..

-- i'm open for any questions
