Silkie bantam, is it a Rooster or Hen?

Another update on TL-
TL started to squat like a hen does for a rooster when I reach down pet her or pick her up, I have had other hens do this when I have no roosters and they want to mate. Does this mean TL is for sure a hen? Or do silkie roosters squat too for whatever reason.... :hmm

Was she squatting and sitting still or ducking and running? I still think she's a she. Hope she'll finally lay an egg and give you your definite answer.

She is not running, just squatting with elbows up and out and then staying like that until I pick her up or leave.

I haven't seen a rooster do that.

Ok, hopefully TL is a hen, maybe she is getting close to laying if she is squating for me. I don't have any bantam roosters but I do have a small EE roo, maybe I should bring her out there and see if she squats for him to.

FINAL TL GENDER UPDATE----
After TL started to squat I assumed an egg could not be far away... I did not expect this!

TL has laid an egg in her sleep while roosting! I woke up this morning and went over to check on TL and she laid an egg while sleeping, she even pooped on it afterwards!
