Another update on TL-
TL started to squat like a hen does for a rooster when I reach down pet her or pick her up, I have had other hens do this when I have no roosters and they want to mate. Does this mean TL is for sure a hen? Or do silkie roosters squat too for whatever reason....

Was she squatting and sitting still or ducking and running? I still think she's a she. Hope she'll finally lay an egg and give you your definite answer.

She is not running, just squatting with elbows up and out and then staying like that until I pick her up or leave.

Ok, hopefully TL is a hen, maybe she is getting close to laying if she is squating for me. I don't have any bantam roosters but I do have a small EE roo, maybe I should bring her out there and see if she squats for him to.

FINAL TL GENDER UPDATE----
After TL started to squat I assumed an egg could not be far away... I did not expect this!

TL has laid an egg in her sleep while roosting! I woke up this morning and went over to check on TL and she laid an egg while sleeping, she even pooped on it afterwards!

Congrats on her first egg! That's funny. Mine always fuss so much when laying.
