Silkie bantams

It really does depend on the bird. Little miss the sky is falling OMG run for the coop and have panic attacks has hatched out some of the calmest silkie girls I've had... no idea what happened when she grew up...

Wonder if it had to do with her being the one girl out of 8 silkie chicks.

I say go and try them!

I love my silkies. When they see me they come running like little puppies....the best!

POCKET
2 1/2 yr. old silkie Serama bantam rooster - 20 oz.

PENNY
1 yr. old silkie Serama hen - 16 oz.

I love my silkie Serama bantam pair. The rooster is the sweetest bird (and oldest) in my flock of 4. The hen is a sophisticated lady-like bird.

Neither are shy at treat time. They prefer the coop life to the pen/run.

i have a silkied serama roo,,,,gray color,..,
we hatched him from some eggs,,,nothing to go with him,,
he is cute like yours,,,

I'm going to breed them and (Lord willing Penny goes broody) let her hatch some chicks this spring. Would you perhaps be interested in a pullet chick?
