They're very cute.
My first thought as well. They would make great smooth birds for a sizzle rooster.Probably not the best place to post these as they are not pure silkies. This thread is centered around the SOP for silkies, you might check and see if there is a thread for sizzles.![]()
Too bad you're so far away. I'd love a Splash cockerel.
I went to see the breeder I got my two silkies from yesterday and came home with two 6 week old smooth sizzles. Both are shades of what we would call blue in Afghans. One light one dark. I'd love to post some photos and will try to get some tomorrow. So far pretty good on the introductions.
Saw your post on FB =) Tell her congrats!... and since you love love love sizzle so much LOL, here is my new sizzle, Chanel! She is SUCH a drama queen and going to be spoiled rotten just like Icelynn haha!I have really nice news to share! Lindsey participated in her first show in Sussex NJ and was surprised with several big wins in the open show. She is one happy gal! Still walking around with a big smile. Jamie Matts was very kind to spend time going over Lindsey's silkies, to help educate us. Very enlightening... There were over 750 birds in the show and the silkies had a pretty big class.
Here are Lindsey's placings:
