My newest littles. All from paint eggs. I'm sure some of you have already seen these, I'm just super excited about them.
The little lighter black with white toes is going to be interesting to watch grow out.

I thought a blue egg got mixed in the batch when she hatched. She really looked blue. Now she is def slate and black and white. Apparently she is unusual. The egg had a p written on it for paint. She has Paint x paint parents.

My dark blues look just like that, but then again, so do some of my blacks! Sometimes they're SO hard to tell apart! Either way, she's SO cute, no matter what color she is!

Yep shipped. 5 hatched 2 clear one still underher but i think it died. They are Shirley pieper babies. I will update for sure!

I am new to raising silkies and I think they are some of the best I have for pets, but I am really having trouble distinguishing between the male and female. I have 7 that are 6 months and one has started crowing but it is hard to figure out which one it is. I have added 2 head shots and I would appreciate any help trying to future this out because I believe I have too many cockerels.

The bottom one for sure is a cockrel. looks like the top one is a pullet.

Thanks as of now I am sure I have 3 cocktails. Do you know if they are like most of the bigger types of cocktails as far as fighting each other. They are real friendly and get along well now but I don't know if that will change as they get older.
