Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

If you click on the link or copy/paste to your browser will it let you see?
Go to the top of BYC and do you see all the brown tabs at the top? Look to the right and you will see "My Profile". Click on that and then scroll down to your albums and click on that. Then you should see a button in there that will let you "Add photos" and click on that. Find the photos you have uploaded to your computer and upload them here to BYC. Once that is done, then you can copy/paste straight from your album, OR you can look at the top of the "Reply" box when you're going to type and 5 images over from the yellow Smiley face is the "Insert Image" icon. Run your mouse over it until it lights up the name. Then click on it and it will let you insert your images into THIS text box here. Otherwise, we probably won't be able to see what you're trying to show us.

Try right clicking on your pictures and copy, then paste here.

Ok retry!!!
The ones I want to know if they could have potential in show or breeding.

Ok I'll try that

Split means one copy of a recessive gene. Can't see it, but know it is there from breeding records.

You cannot have a black lavender. (bl+/bl+ lav/lav) You can have black SPLIT to lavender (bl+/bl+ Lav+/lav), but black lavender is impossible. It means that the bird has two copies of lav, which means it IS lavender, and all black pigment is diluted to lavender.

Blue lavender (or lavender blue) would be Bl/bl+ lav/lav

Proper terminology of the last is blue split to lav. Bl/bl+ Lav+/lav
Ok thank you, I am starting to understand a bit more

While your trying to figure out your photos, here's another of my little girl, it's a better wing shot, I didn't post it before because she wasn't "posing"

. You can see the primarys are folded under the secondarys and they are tucked up to her sides. Let me know if I am wrong
