The chirp...sometimes they get dust, water and/or debris in there nostrils and clear them out by *honking or chirping*. It could be that. Chickens make all kind of different noises..I have one that sound like a cat on occasion.

Here she is. It's nearly impossible to get her from behind... She is too fluffy. Also, ignor her poopy foot. She decided to step in poop right as I reached in to pick her up.

Do you guys have birds that make weird noises like mine? It's almost like a popping sneeze....but it's not a sneeze, I don't think?
Her eyes, nostrils and everything is clear. Eats well, she's quite plump actually. lol I can't find any signs of sickness. Just makes a weird noise. And what's even more weird is that we have a black hen that used to make the same noise. She no longer does this....now THIS pullet is making the noise.

The right foot looks okay in the third photo. I can't see the other one. I don't think you can tell by holding them in the air without weight on their feet. JMO She's a real cutie!

No, she's not. She's one of the youngest ones of the bunch.

I can't imagine it would be something she got in her nostrils because she does this every day, all day long. And if she gets scared, it gets worse. lol But it really does't sound like a sneeze. I have another hen that's sneezing. That's a clear sneeze. This black pullet just makes this odd noise. I'll have to get more video, this little clip didn't show much. I got the few seconds of film in and my camera died.

yeah try a better one, nori did something like this for a while, she had a respiratory fungal infection. Oxine and tylan helped.

I tried the Oxine and Tylan, didn't do anything. That's why I'm scratching my head. Other than this weird noise she makes, she seems perfectly healthy.

The one on my avy is a VERY unhappy leghorn barred rock cross that fell in her water dish.

I have no idea how she managed to do that, since her water dish is a pickle lid.
