I just don't tell my husband and let him think she beat out all the other silkies it's always slightly disappointing, but at the same time I enjoy the guaranteed points.lol

I don't know what a Porcelain is supposed to look like exactly, but he's gorgeous.

I love him! He is too dark like mine is though. I would breed him to a self-blue and try to lose the black, which is what I plan to do with mine. I love his small comb too!

I feel bad that you haven't gotten a answer to your BBS black and paint cross question. I'm no expert but here's my take. The main problem with using a BBS black is that it may appear black but not be black. So it would be best to do a test breeding to determine whether or not the bird is truly black. Of course you could just do a test on your paint.
