Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

It's a puppy. An LGD in training. It does well with goats but hasn't been tested on chickens yet. She doesn't wanna risk that silkie on it. She has other chickens she is ok if she lost should that happen but her silkie isn't one
 
His type looks off, but he may be young?  Neck is too skinny.  Too many hard feathers in tail and too much black.  I would say breeder quality, but if he is not mature, I might well change my assessment as he fills in.  He is a buff, not a red.
Thank you :) I'm not sure his age but I will find out. I'm ok with breed quality too though. :)

Wow what do I know!? I didn't even think it looked like a silkie!
 
Okay I am back with cat litter and paper tape...Dragonlady since you have such a long "name" I think I shall dub you DDL for Dear DragonLady.

All that DH and DIL and on and on drives me a bit crazy but a dear you are, so DDL.
