Silkie breeding, genetics & showing

You didn't say how old the Showgirl is, but I'd say roo. It doesn't exhibit noticeable waddles but the comb looks to be a roo to me.
The comb pic isn't the showgirl. The silkie is the comb pic. They are both 3 1/2 months. That is what I thought too, but I figured i'd give it a shot, sometimes pullets get larger combs to.

If it's a roo I will sell it. The showgirl has pretty much no comb and a very round crest so i'm pretty sure it's a girl.

Well, it is either a gray or a silver partridge. I thought they were one and the same but I was wrong. A gray should have no penciling, should be like a chinchilla's coloring. A silver partridge has penciling. As far as which the bird above is, I thought she was a gray but I no longer have her to be sure. Maybe someone else can detect whether or not that bird has penciling...

She would do well shown as a grey.

Okay critique time....

This is a six month old cockerel, you can see the wing issue...what do you think hold onto longer or not? What is going on with that wing? I had someone suggest that the primaries are a little twisted.
Also sorry about the funky off-color with these images.
