Edited to add colors I forgot about.
Here are the silkie/showgirl hens that I currently have.
Dun/chocolate
Paint
Buff
Chocolate
Chocolate Mottled
Buff
Partridge

I have 2 showgirl roosters
Red
Grey

I also have a blue silkie rooster that I'm definitely keeping.

My question is, which rooster should I keep for the most color variations of chicks? Would the red rooster make some chicks "muddy"? I have no idea on how color genetics work.

What colors are you wanting?

Pretty sure the Blue male over the Chocolate, Chocolate Mottled, Partridge, and Buff will give you good colors. Blue Partridge, Blue Cream (Porcelain) (I think?), Mauve, Mauve Mottled, and Blue and Black and Blue and Black Mottled.

I don't care about mixed colors honestly, I'll just be breeding for fun! Not for any kind of color quality😊
In that case I would choose the grey (aka silver partridge), since you’ll get more patterning. However, if you like shades of red more than silver/white, then you should probably breed the red.

Awesome, thanks! Yea I definitely like the white/Silver shades better than red. Thank you so much!
