I got chickies hatching over here too

Some friz. Cochin mixes (unsure of mom), one Cochin/Silkie mix (starting to look frizzled). 10 or 11 of these guys.

And the doz auction eggs are hatching...so far it looks like 7-8 Black or Dark Blue Silkies and one yellow EE (they were supposed to all be Silkie eggs lol). Still have 1 left to hatch. They look similar to the first pic you posted of the chicks from your eggs. Is that a black or blue?

I accidently gave another BYCer at least one of the auction eggs in place of my eggs and he hatched out a Splash Silkie. I got all blues or blacks, so unfair lol. On the plus side...at least one or two HAVE to be pullets!
