Silkie chick gender

So, this fine specimen,we call Cotton, tried mounting one of our hens today. Unless this is normal, experimental behavior, it certainly rules out it being a pullet. Any input? We already have a silkie roo, so we'd have to give him away. Thoughts?

Dominant hens mounting other hens isn't unheard of, but.....

For such a young bird, I think its more likely that you have a young man trying to figure himself out.

I think a boy too. Girls usually have poofy crests and males kind of swept back
