Silkie Chick Prices UK

I have Silkie eggs hatching soon and was wondering how much I should be selling them for. I’m selling them under a week old and will be unsexed. It’s UK November time. Does anyone have an idea how much the chicks should be sold for?

I’ve had a little look and think £7 a chick would be fair at this time of year, they would be unsexed but they are good quality and variety of colours. Or could £7 be a bit high?

I think that's a good price. You could always lower the price if no one buys them

Where abouts are you based ? I have seen people selling chicks for £10 each as well but thats usually during spring when the weather is good.

I’m south of the UK, would they sell for less at this time of year?

Probably, because of winter they have to stay inside longer than usual.
