Silkie chick puking!

She constantly has these tiny little spit ups too you can tell she's doing it but then just swallows it down.

It wouldn't do her any harm to try miconazole or whatever anti-yeast med you happen to have. Do you have any questions about dosage and timing? It's not disruptive to her system like an antibiotic, only targeting any yeast that may be there in her system. If there is no yeast, it's benign to her system overall.

I have been reluctant to agree that she could have a yeast issue because of her young age, but anything is possible. I would do a twice a day, seven day treatment and see how she does. If you want to wait until you see how she does on the egg and tofu, it's your call. At least now you have a couple of things to try, none of which will be a shock to her system one way or the other.

I'd reserve the vet visit for after you try these measures, if it's determined that they didn't resolve her issue.

When you say miconazole, do you mean something like this

But yes absolutely I would like to know the dosage, I'll try this right away.
Thank you so much for all of your help !

I use the cream but you can use the suppositories too. Of course, you will give the miconazole directly into the beak. If your chick is around half the size of a full grown chicken or smaller, use around a quarter inch of the cream or suppository, giving it morning and evening for a full seven days. If your chick is close to being full size, give around half an inch of the cream. You can try letting her eat it off your finger. Some like the taste. Or wipe the cream off your finger on the inside of her beak. The suppository can be popped directly into the beak as you would any pill.
