Your baby is so cute !! You did the right thing, so glad you did not put her (?) down. I had hatched my 4 babies and kept them in the house until I put them outside when they were around 2 mos old. Then the raccoon attack. They had never been separated, so I brought one of them in as a companion for T at the vet. When T was put back in the box with G, she was still sleepy and G tapped her like "hey, wake up" and she did. It was so sweet. I brought all of them back inside while my husband made a new coop. T and G stayed inside while T healed. I think I kept them inside for 3 weeks. Then I put them outside in the new coop with the other two. It took T a little time to get used to being back outside (it was very hot, plus there was a lot more room out there) but now it is hard to pick out which one is her when she is standing with the others. G is always at her side, and will scratch the ground for her to peck at things and to dust bathe. I have actually watched G scratch the ground, do the fluffing dust bathing thing, and then nudge T to the same spot so she can dust bathe. I will try to post a couple of pix.
