Oh, good luck with them, then. Mine are only 2 weeks old, so there is still some time for them to grow.And it's my first time with silkies. I just bought them bc I'm my area they sell very well. Like 25$ a pair. Plus they are supposed to be good broodys. Wanted to see if they were better than my game hens.
hatchery silkies probably have broodiness bred out of them. They don't want their hens going broody, they want more eggs .
