Silkie Chicks

They are so dark they don't really show up in pictures. Tried to get a few with different lighting. They have the cutest little round chubby faces! If y'all can tell I am very happy how they turned out. I wasn't really sure what to expect.

Silkies are extremely difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age and sometimes not till they crow or lay eggs. Too young to tell if they are pure silkies or not. Could you please post new photos in a month or so?

Yes I will keep y'all updated as they grow. They are 3 weeks old now. I am planning to keep them all until I know for sure. With as many chickens as I have right now, feeding a couple extra roosters for a few months won't even make a dent lol.

They look a lot different in person, it's hard to see them in the pictures no matter what I do to the lighting. But maybe they will be easier to see once all that grey color comes out a little more. They are in that awkward new feather stage, I will get some better pictures once they all feather out.
