OOOOOOHHHHHHH........You're gonna be hooked!!!!!!! They are the sweetest, softest most personable creatures! When people ask me what they are.... I tell them "Tiny chicks in little bunny suits". I don't have lots of experience with them from day olds, but I have 2 in a tote under a heat lamp right now.....so I'm figuring it out quickly. I'm keeping them at 95 degrees for the first week. They tell me to decrease the temp by 5 degrees each week until they're about 6 weeks old. I mix their chick starter food with babyfood and heat it slightly. I feed it on the lid of a cool whip container. They fight over it!!!!!! Clean water is a must! So many illnesses can be stopped just by the simple changing of water several times a day. Wash and sanitize your hands before and after handling them. They're just tiny babies and don't have immunity to the big bad bugs this world is filled with. Just like your children, they have to build their immunity gradually. Let us know how it goes.
