HI everyone!

So my silkie hen hatched out 2 more chicks today - YAY! I have hatched out a few of her eggs about 2 weeks ago in my incubator and man are they the cutest here's some pics of them .. (the 1st 3 pics are of the older chicks / and last pic is of the 2 new ones! - obviously the gray/silver color is pretty consistent!) anyways ...

Does anyone have experience in hatching silkie mixes and have a clue what they possibly will turn out looking like? I'm wondering if the silkie gene is prominent with them. I will also post below pictures of the parents, so you have any idea as well. Billy Ray (my rooster) is some type of cochin mix I'm thinking and Dolly (my hen) is definitely a silkie, just not sure if she may be a mix or full silkie since her fluff on her head is pretty minimal. - I bought them both at a poultry auction about a year ago, so I don't know much about them before they got to me other than they are pretty daggone sweet! Also if they have more silkie in them how easy it is to determine sex and how long until they mature and I can tell?

Thanks for the help everyone :)

You're silkie is a mix herself, it appears. She doesn't have the silkie feathers of down all over.
Your cochin is mixed with ameraucana or easter egger, given that modified pea comb, muffs and beard.

My roo is definitley something quite different! HA he really is a gorgeous guy though - the oldest chick I had hatch using Dolly's egg with Billy Ray as the father is about 3 months now and here's a pic of him - crazy lookin lil dude!
