Hi all!
New here at BYC!
I know it's more complicated than a straight forward answer as they can carry other genes in them but generally speaking or your best guess.
What does a buff x buff silkie produce?
All buffs or other colours as well?

Thanks a ton and look forward to making some great poultry crazy friends on here
Happy chirping!

just buffs.... while the buff genotype its a very complicated one and there could be some genetic difference(mostly on columbian restrictors like Db and or Co) on how some breeds are buff, its safe to say that if you cross a buff silkie with another buff silkie you will end up with more buff silkies

simple genetic make up for buff silkies is wheaten(eWh) Co(Dominant Columbian Restrictor) and or Db(Dark brown a columbian like restrictor) and sex link gold s+ I´m not sure if they carry Dominant Dilute Di or not
