Silkie colouring

Hi. I had this single silkie chick hatch 2 days ago and I can't figure what colour she'll end up being. I think both parents are pure silkie, they have extra toes and blue ears. Dad is black and mom is brown, maybe that's called buff. (They aren't in my basement any more, had to come in for the -20 C to -40 C winter weather).

The baby seems to have chipmunk striping of brown and black, but the pics I can find of silkie babies they are a solid colour.

Does the chipmunk denote sex?

Awe. It’s going to be a dark partridge. So cute. I used to have one named Nana and a great horn owl took her.

Yup, it's going to be partridge of some kind.
