Aw! I love all the cute fluff balls! Not really an entry because sadly she’s passed away, but this was my Esther. She was 5 months old in this photo, and the loveable goof was a total space cadet! She liked to wander around the yard happily with her two friends.

Okay I'll share my Silkies, Miss Kitty and Buffy. Miss Kitty is a little white pullet and I believe that Buffy is a little buff cockerel, as I see a brighter mulberry hint of a comb now, as well as some slicker streamer-type feathers, but it's still too early to tell for sure. And yes, they've got big beards and then some...these two are super poofy! They're sweet little ones, and the best of friends.

Above: the babies at a few days old. Below: the babies last week at approximately twelve weeks old.

They don't seem to realize they're not designed to roost though, and you'll notice they like to try to roost way up high with the big kids!
