Do silkies get fluffier as they age? I think mine are around 1 yr

This is Sukaina but I think I need a name change as I am seeing that it may be a rooster. Here is he is at 5 weeks old, which was taken 2 days ago. A Porcelain color. So fluffy and furry. Can't even see his feet and legs. I hope he turns out really pretty as a full grown bird.
