Silkie cross gender

I'm usually pretty good at sexing my chickens by now (aged 4 months) but with this chicken I think pullet one day and cockerel the next, mainly due to the red in the body. it's meant to be a silkie x Australian araucana (similar to an Ameraucana but with a crest) but I can only confirm the silkie part
Just wanting second opinions??

A sister, photo was taken a month ago but she's pretty much unchanged except comb and wattles are slightly bigger with more colour

Red doesn't necessarily mean cockerel. Look up a black sex link. Oh and also have safesearch on. But your bird is a girl.

Definitely a cockerel. He has male-specific saddle feathers.
