Silkie gender

Hi! I am not sure if it’s too early to tell but I have this painted silkie and I am not sure of the gender. I am not sure how old it is but I am guessing it’s 2-4 months old.

I am leaning pullet as well, but not convinced without a good comb photo.

I am getting roo vibes based on the side photo (it’s crest sort of lays to the back, but some hens are that way too,) but yes looking at the comb is one of the best ways to tell.

Not sure, but you can tell by how they act. If they strut kind of then it is more likely a rooster. Hens will just walk.

Hard to be certain without close ups of the comb. If there is no comb formation then I’d say pullet.
