silkie gender

I am thinking they may both be male due to the facial growth?
What do you guys think?
Also, what is your opinion of the color of this one?

Umm, the top one is dirty but white? and the bottom one is fairly clean black? Or were you talking about the gorgeous Faverolle in the background?

The top one is definately not white, although dirty is possible, lol--as a baby seemed somewhat silver. Kind of like a splash. I have always secretly hoped maybe lavendar, but I have no idea what that looks like in a silkie.
As for that faverolle, it would be a lot more gorgeous if it were a girl!!! LOL
(Forgive me, I just learned all my big chickens are boys. As are the silkies. My only hope lies in the showgirls now!!)

I'm curious to know what color he is also. I have a young one that looks just like him and was trying to figure out if it was just an off white. I'll take a picture today and see what you all think.
