Hello all.
The silkie on top had us guessing for months then slowly some streamers started coming out from up top,now he competes for the girls and has some rivalries with other cockerels in the pen.Took along time to figure this one out.

This little critter right out of the egg has it's crest perky and prominent.I've read that when it shows this early, it's a male.Don't know if that is a myth or not.But comparing it to my other chicks they don't have a crest showing this early.
Any opinions?
