silkie has a freaky sixth toe?? pics included

Well I called the fellow I got them from and he said the Silkies were in their own pen he has his colors mixed two roos of different colors and like 6 hens of different colors, so ive got a mix of sorts, I asked him if he had a jiggalo roo jumping pens and he said no, so hopefully even if they have a little mix somewhere in their background they willl still look like silkies..


She seems fine nothing strange otherwise..

One of my Silkies had 4 toes on one foot, and another had 6 toes on one foot. Apparently it's not that uncommon. Since all my chickens are pets/for laying, it's not a big deal. I actually haven't thought about their toes in awhile!

Absolutely! I love all my chickens no matter what they are or what they look like...imperfections and all!!! Your babies are adorable, they are some little cutie pies!!

Especially that little brownish chunky one !!!

I agree with you guys-the more "imperfect", the more perfect. Being different just makes them more special to me.
