Silkie has an eye that is swelling

I just got her today, her left eye lid is starting to swell, with a little bif of mucus in it. Still can keep eye open, but sometimes it is closed. I heard this could be bad, what do i do???

Keep her seperated from other birds. Now, is the eye fluid bubbly? Any foul smells? What color is eye fluid?

More then likely you're gonna have to start an antibiotic regiment

Its not bubbly, the fluid looks translusent. I got this silkie and another together, and later I went back to the feed store and found out the other silkie that was with them died. I already had isolated them because I didnt want to introduce them to the flock.
