I don't know the answer to this either. I wondered the same thing
because many of my darker silkies have 1 or 2 white toenails.

In my opinion...Chicks will hatch out anyway, But I they get older they change dramatically. So dont judge something so young. Allot of newbies to breeds and big time breeders make that mistake. In the future finding out they turned out good.

White toes nails arnt a big deal. Most of the time they will get darker.
And one or 2 light toes nails compared to the stunning bird it is...is a not big deal eathier.

What breeder did you get the bird from?
