im trying not to get to antsy though since ive still got to wait a whole day for day 21

Heres a pic I took last night candling, its hopefully a Red Partridge Silkie at day 9. The white at the top is tape I used on the end of my mini maglite. Something was zooming around in there, so all is good, now to wait 2 m o r e w e e k s .

There are 21 silkies and 2 cochins the silkies look to be 2 blue and the rest19 lavs i think we have a lav rooster in there but not sure at this point the color of chicks

OKay guys, as of seven this morning it was officially Day 21 for two of the eggs, and at 6:00 pm tonight it will officially be day 21 for the other two.

So far there is nothing, nothing, nothing, more nothing, and a whole lot of nothing going on. I am trying my very hardest not to get discouraged. Last night I had a dream that i hatched out a cat. A cat and a brahma...

gosh i hope these little dudes are just late bloomers!

do they usually start hatching on day 20 and finish on day 21? im trying to be optomistic but ive already lost 26 eggs, and im really really hoping these last four make it...or at least two!
