yes on day 26 it is time to see what is going on.like you said.and then peel very slowly and if they are alive they will move around.There might be a little blood but do not worry.[IT IS TIME.]What has your temps and humidity been?

i could only do one. i left the other three in there. this one was a beautiful bowtied showgirl

No movement. What went wrong? membrane was unbroken. Should i disect the other three eggs too?

are you sure about the number of days.with that much yolk left it looks like 5 or so days left.what was the temps?i would not crack the rest yet wait a few more days.

yes i am positive about the days. these eggs were set on the first of the month. I will keep the rest in. So sad... this chick would have been BEAUTIFUL.

101.5 For Still Air.i Run My Temp In My Lg At 102.3 And Have Great Luck.humidity Around 36-40% For 17 Days

temp has been between 99.5 and 100. humidity between 70 and 80. i have tapped the glass before- nothing at all... ill give the other three some more time. but at what point do i give up? they are already five days late and that chick had alot of yolk left to absorb.
