WHAT KIND of bator are you using and the thermometer,sometimes it is good to have 2 some are off a few degrees and that means alot

I have had chicks hatch on day 30 i know it is hard to believe but it has happened om my first hatches

its an lg with a fan. i will admit the temps are all over the place, but it looks like this chick made it far!

Perhaps the humidity is high and it drowned? I usually do 30 - 40% until lockdown, then around 50% until hatch. I don't know though. Do I remember you saying you're using an LG? I ended up having a good hatch with my LG but that thing was a horrible pain in the you know what from day one. Fortunately it was borrowed so I wasn't stuck with that piece of junk. I gave it back and built a fridgibator out of a broken wine cooler last month. Haven't used it yet but I'm almost positive it will do better than the LG.
