Silkie hen laying an egg every day. Is this normal?

I'm new to raising chickens. So sorry if I'm asking dumb questions. I purchased 2 silkie hens about a month ago and everything I've read, Silkies lay around 3 eggs per week. I have one that's laying one a day. Is this normal?

My silkies would lay every day or every other day until they laid enough to be considered a clutch and than they went broody. Repeat over and over throughout the season. So they lay well, than quit completely.

Nope...I have them separated.....

Where did you hear that they lay 3 every week? My silkies lay about 6 times a week.
