Silkie Lovers, Show Off Your Fuzzy Chickens Here?!

Pics
What breed/cross breed is the chick? Is the second one you are waiting to hatch the same?

The red jungle Fowl are lovely! They are so interested in you but they are still not wanting to be touched. Are they easy to tame or more difficult?
The chick is the same mix as my project rooster. The crossing is Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Buff Orpington Australorp.

Red JungleFowl are wild birds, & will be a challenge to fully tame. They are the original chicken.

Oh right, I'm sure they'll grow up and be pretty!

Ah well I guess they're on a similar wave length to what my pheasant is. We can get close but he's a no touch kinda bird.

What kind of pheasant?

This is how my boy is turning out, if I haven't posted him already.

The new project chicks are a bit of a different in color, seems like they have more extended wheaten then my first ones did.

My first ones were mostly black with gray bellies, & blonde, or chocolate faces, with partial chipmunk striping.
The new ones have light grey backs, faint Chipmunk stripes, a buff belly, & face.

Hi everyone- hope I can join in? I have a total of 9 silkies... and I have some silkie/cochin mixes too, but I guess I won’t post them here because it’s a silkie thread, lol!
Bare with me, I’m gonna try to label these :)

These 2 don’t have names, but are known as the "Silkie Sisters"

Of course you can join in! I believe anything Silkie goes here :D

You have some lovely birds! I particularly like the Silkie Sisters and Fluffball!

Fluffballs poof/crest looks awesome :clap

Hello again!

I've decided on two names for them :D

Porridge and Pudding!

I'm not sure which to call what though...maybe the small one pudding and the bigger one porridge? Or the other way?
