Silkie people ... question on size difference?

i have never seen a Silkie with a head like that, without being a mix. Are you sure it is a full Silkie?

At six months, i would think you would have heard a crow if it was a rooster. i think it could be a hen.

Partridge is a roo (not that they haven't told you already, just concuring).

My blue silkies were always significantly smaller than their hatch mates until right as they hit maturity, then they caught up.

I know she (I hope not he) isn't a full blooded silkie even though MPC said she was even when I sent them pictures. I also got 2 roosters out of 11 from them.... when I paid and sexed for hens... Oh well.

She's definitely a mix... maybe a silkie and a frizzle?

Have you heard it crow yet? I may be wrong but it looks like a rooster to me. It is a pure silkie, but just doesn't have a crest. It's kinda like a silkie with not the right number of toes, but its still pure.
