Silkie Roo with single comb?

All my other silkies have walnut combs. Would this be a cockerel or pullet? The lack of long streamers and single comb is throwing me off.

Single comb means it was bred out from a mix of a silkie and a single comb breed. Usually a Cochin or something similar.

This is often done to bring different colors into silkies.

Not necessarily. If the silkie parents were both RrPp hetero Walnut for example then 1/16 offspring would have single combs naturally

In fact if you bred a true homozygous Walnut to a single all offspring will be Walnut.

Looks like a pullet. Single combs aren't that unusual in hatchery silkies.
