Silkie Roo?

My Silkie Roosters are not big on the crowing thing. When they do - it is not very a loud or long crow. I don't think your Rooster's crowing will be much of a big deal. Good luck with your husband.

I think my husband is starting to soften to the idea of keeping Vanilla even though he's a roo.

But I'll still need to find out who is crowing in the morning, because Vanilla might not be the only roo. They can hear me come out to the coop to spy in the morning, and then they all get quiet.
