Silkie Rooster with possible abcess/cyst on leg

Zeke is doing better today - he was crowing this morning when I got there. He is also more energetic than yesterday. I unwrapped his leg this morning and it looked pretty good - then he started picking at it and got it bleeding again - it doesnt look like it has any type of white stuff in it - just an open wound that bleeds. Anyway I cleaned it and bandaged him back up and will get some blue kote from the feed store and see if that will help stop him from pecking at it and i may also give him a round of antibiotics to help heal from the inside out as a precautionary measure. Any more advice on this thread is greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the replys - its nice to know there are others who can help you.
