I've purchased three separate mailings of Silkie eggs from different sellers. One mailing had 3 broken eggs from rough shipping and many eggs had broken air cells. Had to throw out 9 eggs today. I might have 4 eggs that may be ok from the first two mailings.
These tiny eggs don't seem to hold up well to shipping. It's the handling that's the issue and I know mailed eggs are a big gamble.
I'd like to find someone I could drive to sometime to buy eggs.
Maybe in the Spring.
Is there anyone withing driving distance of the Northern panhandle of West Virginia that would allow this?
Cindy
