Silkie sex

i am picking up my new silkies tomorrow a blue roo and this paint the breeder believes is a pullet but not 100%. Any options? 10 weeks old

I agree with the breeder. no one can l00% guarantee the gender of young silkies. But, she does appear to be female at this point in time - very pretty.

thank you. The roo is 14 weeks and very roo like even to a newbie like me. I also have 4 straight run non bearded that are 8 weeks old and I have no clue about. I have realized that unless they crow or lay you can't be sure 100%. I'm ok with if it is a roo. I think if I end up with more Roos then hens and everyone gets along I may just have a bachelor coop.

I think the splash is female and the white is male??? These babies are 12 weeks old but we aren't allowed males in my area . Let me know what you think, please
