I will show you what I mean with the chicks though. The one with the longer 5th toes is the loudest. I've found out the loud mouths turn out to be roosters by experience.

I'm thinking my one white Silkie Chick that is almost 4 weeks is a Cockerel just by comb growth and how it looks more upright and acts more pushy.. It's feathers are also not growing out at the same rate as the other two Silkies. ..I hope I'm right...

I've read this somewhere. The silkie pullets will grow their tail feathers first.
