I would guess the same. Makes me feel better about my 10 week old that has less comb than your roo there.

no, this is not the right type of comb, sorry to tell you that. what your rooster has is a single comb. this pic I have added is what you want them to have.

That's a good question, I think mine were at least 6 months old when they started. May have even been 7 months.

Just had one start laying at nine months and have had as early as six months.
