    Impossible to sex even with my 10 year experience. More pics of the body may help. :)

    Actually girls can crow. I have at least 2 girls that crow. They lay eggs, go broody and crow! I was surprised too but other people have hens that crow too. Sorry to make things more difficult...

    hi I have some six week old chicks here are a few pics of my two cuckoo and one partridge would love to know if anyone had any ideas on their sex. thanks :)

    Yes I've had hens crow but not a true crow, more like a "young cockerel just learning" type of sound. Too funny!

    Your partridge chick looks like a rooster, his comb is really bumpy and it appears to be turning mulberry colored.
