This is my sweet Faline, I feel pretty confident she is a pullet. She is also 5 months old. Is her color a smutty buff? It has a pretty lavender shade under the buff color and has darker buff penciling on the wings. She is head honcho lol.

This is Sparkles the 10 week old silkie whom may be frizzled or something because her feathers look so flipped out lol, this one is always first to greet and is quick to catch the treats. George just usually snatches them away. What are your opinions on Sparkles sex? I can take some more pics tomorrow If anyone needs specific shots. Thanks!!

Your little paint may have a deficiency that is causing her / him to look a little ' bedraggled ' . The feathers can also be affected by fenbendazole and albendazole based wormers. If they are wormed during a molt. Have you got a pic of her / his wing extended ? On the other hand it may just be going through its awkward teenager stage.

I am pretty sure it is just a frizzled silkie since the breeder showed me the possible father's which one was a frizzle. I really hope it's a girl! These 2 haven't been wormed yet. my daughter feel in love with it when I went after the partridge and he gave it to her lol!! I think he was trying to score some brownie points so she can beg me to go back for more... which I am fighting the urge constantly!! Lol!!

Oh those little silkies will steal your heart every time. If I had a dollar for every time someone came here to buy fertile eggs and then returned to buy a Silkie or 2 , I'd be a very rich lady. I'm sending you ' pullet vibes '.
